Reboarding your vehicle we turn south and make our way to the stunning botanical gardens situated right in the heart of Sydney. En route we pass through Macquarie Street, named after the first Governor of Sydney, Lachlan Macquarie. Here you will see Australia’s first Parliament House, Mint, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary’s Cathedral. Lunch today is a special treat. Situated in the magnificent botanical gardens, the Botanical Gardens Pavilion offers splendid views and splendid food. Sit back and immerse yourself in your unique surroundings. After lunch, your tour continues down to Mrs Macquarie’s chair, situated on the water’s edge. Continue through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and onto Darling Point, one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs and see some of Sydney’s most sought after addresses. Continuing on we pass by Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse and Watsons Bay, before traversing along the coastline to Sydney’s most famous beach, Bondi. Here you will have some time to soak up the atmosphere of the beachside mecca. Stroll down the esplanade with the locals and maybe enjoy an ice cream before reboarding your vehicle. We make our way back to Sydney via the vibrant Oxford Street and the suburb of Paddington. Admire this boutique shopping precinct and the charming Georgian and Victorian architecture of the homes. ITINERARY
This unique day is the ultimate way to experience the beauty of Sydney. Your experienced guide greets you at your city hotel for a drive around the historic Rocks precinct, visiting the first church in Australia, the Observatory and the convict built cottages, continuing around Circular Quay, the Opera House and into the magnificent Botanical Gardens. Here we take a short walk to view Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair and excellent harbor views to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Rejoining the vehicle we drive around Woolloomooloo Bay, Potts Point and Kings Cross, as well as the ritzy Double Bay area. Along the foreshore of the Eastern Suburbs we pass by the up-market homes of the rich and famous.

Arriving at Watson’s Bay on South Head, we enjoy a meal of Doyle’s famous fish and chips in the park with a bottle of chilled Australian wine and a cheese platter. We return to the city, via Australia’s famous Bondi Beach, arriving at Darling Harbour where your yacht awaits for a cruise around Sydney Harbour with a delicious afternoon tea. After an incredible 2 hours on the world’s most beautiful harbor, your vessel returns to Darling Harbour. Here you may decide to eat out at any one of the dozen or more restaurants, stay and enjoy the entertainment, or take the monorail into the city, returning to your hotel at your leisure.

ITINERARY A trip to Sydney is not complete without a visit to the world class wineries of the Hunter Valley – allow us to take you there. Leaving your hotel we travel through the historic Rocks area before crossing over the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge. We wind our way through the leafy Northern Suburbs, and then escape through the brilliant sandstone outcrops of Ku-ring-gai National Park to reach the mighty Hawkesbury River. Stop for a traditional Aussie morning tea deep in the bush and then continue on to the historic township of Wollombi, famous for its local brew called Dr Jurd’s Jungle Juice. From Mt View we descend into the Hunter Valley and begin our wine tasting at a few of the very special boutique wineries in the area. We chat to the owners, admire their cottage locations and let them show off the best of their vintages. At the foothills of the Broken Back Range, we enjoy a sumptuous lunch and then spend the afternoon visiting some of the larger vineyards for more superb wine tasting. As the afternoon approaches we return to Sydney via the scenic freeway to conclude this relaxing and enjoyable day.

ITINERARY Departing your hotel this morning your tour starts in the historical precinct of the Rocks, the birth place of Sydney and Australia. Heading North we cross the Harbour Bridge and west towards the historical towns of Windsor and Richmond. Some of Sydney’s earliest history can be found in these quaint villages. We enjoy some beautiful, home-made morning tea at the foot of the mountains. Continuing on we cross the Nepean River at the charming village of Yarramundi where we stop to view a myriad of Native Australian Birds in their natural wetland environment. Not far from here we enter the Blue Mountains National Park and view outstanding Aboriginal Rock Art. Hidden in thick bushland, you will be amazed at the detail of artworks that are thousands of years old. Our steep ascent of the mountains continues as we arrive at Hawkesbury Heights for outstanding views over the Sydney basin. Next it is onto the town of Blackheath, deep in the heart of the Blue Mountains for a traditional Australian Barbecue under the canopy of the Bush. Enjoy world class food and wine in unique surroundings and experience the plethora of wildlife that surrounds us. After lunch we visit the stunning Wentworth Falls for a short walk to explore the area and the view the stunning scenery. Later we drop into a hidden valley where we roam the area, seeking out the many kangaroos that graze in the wild, before returning to Sydney.
